David Clyde Haga, Sr., 88, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 after a prolonged illness. Clyde was born to the late Felix and Anna Mae (Denny) Haga in Helen, WV. Clyde was also preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. Clyde is survived by his beloved wife Lorraine (Blevins) Haga and his son and two daughters: David Haga, Jr. and Patricia (Peake) Haga; Marlene (Haga) Pontal and Jim Pontal; and Nancy Haga. He is also survived by: three sisters, six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren and a large extended family.

Clyde was a 1951 graduate of Chilhowie High School in Smythe County, VA. He was a hard working Christian, Husband and Father who was always willing to lend a helping hand to others in need. Clyde was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ, Springfield, TN.

Clyde is to be cremated per his wishes. Due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, group size limits, etc., there will be no memorial service at this time, but a service will be scheduled for some future date as things return to normal.

TLC Mortuary Services has been entrusted with his care.
